How do you measure weight for resistance bands?

Because resistance bands provide variable resistance, the weight is measured by the peak resistance that a band can provide before being over-stretched.

Is there a minimum or maximum height?

There is no minimum height, but for users over 6'3" you will not be able to perform overhead presses with the standard bands.

If you message us after ordering, we can send you longer bands.

Are the bands strong? What if a band snaps?

The EVO Bands are the highest quality latex that can be found, so they are very strong. That being said, resistance bands can snap and you should always be aware of this risk.

Thankfully if you do not pull them towards your face and eyes, the risk of injury is almost zero.

On top of that, if a band snaps, we replace it free of charge.

How do I adjust the tension of the bands?

It's super easy! With EVO Bands, all you have to do is insert one of the notches through the slot on your EVO Base.

The notches on your band are at fixed distances to accommodate different exercises and heights.

So, if you were doing deadlifts you would choose the notch closest to the carabiner on your EVO Band and insert it through the slot on your base.

Are resistance bands effective for building muscle?

Studies have shown that resistance bands are just as effective as free weights for building muscle.

The reason for this is because building muscle simply requires you to progressively challenge a muscle more and more while getting the rest and nutrition necessary to recover.

The EVO Gym sets itself apart from other resistance band systems by providing you with enough resistance, variety, and consistency of tension to progressively overload your muscles over time.
